The migration from a cottage to Fairhaven (mid care or frail care) depends on availability, urgency and medical/physical condition. A single bedsitter cannot always be guaranteed and shared accommodation might be the only option, however, management will always liaise with the residents and family before any migration/move to alternative accommodation takes place.
Provision has been made to accommodate residents after operations for a period of time or at times after an emergency incidence i.e. falls. There is a daily rate applicable which can be obtained from reception. This daily rate includes nursing and meals. Special equipment cannot be provided and must be purchased by the resident him/herself, especially if the recovery requires a long term stay in Fairhaven/frail care.
